Welcommen! Except for the Knitting, pretty much the same Interests;>. It's been pretty quiet here for a while so ask away and maybe you can get it "hopping" again! Personally, here in "The Dangly Bits"(Florida Panhandle)I've been prepping for Spring, which this yr is late due to the Cold weather. The Plum and Peach trees are done blossoming. One Hosui Pear has finished, the Shinsekis just starting(though they SHOULD be blooming together but like the plums are determined to make sure I don't get enough to make preserves). I'm a big Japapnophile, growing up in a household whose mom and older brothers were stationed in Japan during the Occupation.
