-Name you would like to go by: Nic, Nicanthiel (if you must be formal)
-Present path or tradition: My own. Out in the wider pagan world, I'm associated with Vanatru, but my own twist on things takes from CR, Feri, Heathenry, shamanism and comparative mythology. I call it the Vanic Tradition (oh look, shiny new path!). I, like a couple of others here, am also making nerdy pagan bedroom eyes at AODA
-Interests: writing, singing, music, reading, poetry, percussion, being a complete and utter nerd/dork (not so much an interest as an inevitability... :P)
-Age (not mandatory): Too old, too young. Physically, 22/3.
-Brief Bio: Adapted from my website
Nicanthiel Hrafnhild has been dealing with the Vanic gods for several years, in both a Celtic and Germanic context. Priest and devotee of Nerthus-Hertha, the holy Earth Mother, he is a runester, mystic, witch and amateur theologian dedicated to renewing and reviving the mysteries of the Vanir for the modern age and the post-industrial/fossil-fueled future.
He has been involved in the Geferræden Fyrnsidu, Ar nDraíocht Féin, the Ekklesia Antinoou, and the Celtic Reconstructionist movement in the past, but has started his own path exploring the deep and dark currents that underlie the various Vanir cultus. A lifelong Libra (with plenty of other things tossed in the mix) and INFP, he has always been drawn to the more natural side of religion and spirituality. As such, he finds himself a natural storyteller, poet, singer, calligrapher, and generally artsy person.
Basically, I'm awesome. But then so are you :) Oh, I'm also the founder of a Vanic hearth-group named Hrafnesseld Inhíred (Ravens' Hall Household)
